Grief is a natural response to loss and significant change and an unavoidable part of the human experience. Yet many people move through life with few spaces where grief can be acknowledged, witnessed, and supported.Ā
Join us for an experiential day exploring how forest therapy can serve as a compassionate container for supporting grief. Designed for certified forest therapy guides, this advanced intensive will strengthen your capacity to be with your own grief while equipping you with the skills to confidently lead forest therapy experiences designed for individuals who areĀ carrying loss.Ā
By the end of this intensive, you will:
- Increase your capacity to be with your own grief
- Gain an in-depth understanding of types of grief and how to hold spaceĀ for griefĀ
- Be able to articulate the role forest therapy can play in grief support
- Learn how to incorporate the elements of ritual in forest therapy for grief support
- Develop the skills to structure and facilitate a grief-centered forest therapy offering
